The Hardin County Municipal Court provides eligible Defendants with a Traffic Safety program (Safe Driver Online) that is helpful in providing driving tips on a variety of topics related to the safe operation of a motor vehicle. The Traffic Safety Program (TSP) allows approved Defendants to have their case dismissed upon successful completion of the Safe Driver Online program, payment of the program fee and payment of the $200.00 Court fee for their traffic violation. The course is 2 hours long and consists of several modules. It may be done all at one time or over a period of time, but must be completed within 45 days of entering the program. The cost of the program is $24.95.
The minimum criteria for participating in the Traffic Safety Program are:

NOTE: YOU CANNOT TAKE THE ONLINE CLASS UNTIL THE COURT HAS RECEIVED AND APPROVED YOUR SIGNED ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND AGREEMENT AND CONDITIONAL GUILTY PLEA AND TIME WAIVER FORMS ALONG WITH YOUR PAYMENT OF $200.00.
The Court will accept filing of the Acknowledgement and Agreement and Conditional Guilty plea and Time waiver forms by fax at (419) 674-4096 or at the Clerk’s window.
Once your forms are approved, you may pay your $200.00 TSP fee by cash, money order or cashier’s check. THIS IS NOT PAYABLE ONLINE.
NOTE: NO EXTENSIONS WILL BE GRANTED AND NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR NOT COMPLETING THE TSP CLASS. COURT FEE OF $200.00 IS NON-REFUNDABLE.
